Welcome to Joey's Life Story: May 2011

Day 1- In the car leaving for the airport.

Why do we have to wait so long?

On the air plane

Had lunch with Nana Chica, Aunt Carla and Great Grandma, now on to the hotel.

We stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort in the Barbados villas. Our room is all decorated in Finding Nemo.

The hotel had lots of pools, beaches and water slides.

After our swim we headed to the T-Rex restaurant, IT WAS AWESOME but Mom forgot the camera!

Day 2- At the Magic Kingdom we met Pluto as soon as we got there. He is one of my favorites.

I'm here at the Disney Castle just like in the movies!

Lots of cool rides and shows.

Finally we are at the Pirate ride!

After we got off the ride Captain Jack Sparrow was there!!! As soon as I saw him I ran up on stage to be and talk to him (even though he was trying to perform).

This is Blackbeard's daughter, Captain Jack Sparrow taught me to flee when I see her!

Why won't this come out?

Maybe if I try another angle?

I joined The Pirates League. They did my make-up like a real pirate

They gave me my pirate name (Edward Stormwater), new pirate gear (bandana, sword, teeth, eye patch) and swore me in.

As a new recruit I got to see the secret treasure room. Captain Jack made us promise not to tell the secret where we got our cursed treasure from so I told him "I stole mine from a dead pirate skeleton!"

I could really use a nap!

Day 3- We went to the Animal Kingdom. We went on this supper cool safari. We saw lots of animals but then we drove through a poachers camp. They had a baby elephant trapped in one of their trucks. When we got back I made sure that I demanded to all of the workers that we go back to save it!!! They called on the radio for the next truck to stop and set it free.

I let Mommy bury me in the sand!

Lunch at the Rainforest Cafe.

We had to cut tonight's swim short because of thunderstorms so I just finished my swim in the tub with my new pirate toys that I bought with me Easter money.
